Gorillaz back from the dead! And headlining Demon Dayz festival

Gorillaz announced that they are preparing for their first live performance since performing “Clint Eastwood” at the Fader Fort and Bonnaroo in 2014. After almost five years, they will feature at the Demon Dayz festival that will take place at Dreamland Margate, Kent, England on Saturday 10th June 2017.

The official curators, Jamie Hewlett and Damon Albran, are returning on the festival alongwith the other members of Gorillaz. After their last appearance in 2010 for the Plastic Beach World Tour, the band returns for their live show in the United Kingdom for over five years, set to take place at the Dreamland Amusement Park in Margate.

The band hasn’t really been away from music for five years because they released ‘Hallelujah Money’ in January, their first song in six years. Last month, Damon Albran told one of the fans that their long-awaited album is finished and were almost return for their return to the stage.

The entire thing will be streamed live on Red Bull TV.

Tickets will be priced at £60, and will go on sale at this Friday, 10th March. For further information, you can visit: https://www.demondayzfestival.co.uk/

A full line-up of the performances is yet to be announced.
